Ways to utilize the 'Additional Information' fields

The 'Additional Information' fields on the Event > The Basics page can be utilized in so many ways.

Tax Exemptions 

If you have guests that are tax exempt, you can add an 'Additional Information' question/s asking them to use the dropdown to advise, ensuring you specify any requirements such as; making them aware they need to have the correct documentation at time of check in for the hotel.


ADA Rooms

Would you like to be aware of what type of ADA requirement your guest may have, they can add it to the 'Special Request' field upon creating the reservation. Or you can have this as a non mandatory questions via the 'Additional Information' fields.


Promotions

Use these questions for promotions, asking if your guests would like to opt into marketing such as Newsletters or competitions.

Rather than having the second freeform text field we have here, you could advise the 'contact' email will be the email filed for receiving newsletters etc.

Reporting

You can then gather the data you have collected via the 'Additional Information Totals' report which will provide to you a summary of room pick-up vs response. Or you can create a custom report that has the individual 'Additional Information' responses.
