In order to access the Meetingmax system as an MCP user, this requires 2FA (2 Factor Authentication) which is done with a password and an authenticator code. The code can come from either your Authenticator App on your mobile phone, or an Authentication Extension on your browser.
To install the Authenticator app on your mobile device, head to your App Store, search ‘Google Authenticator’, you can install any Authenticator you like (or use one you already have installed on your device).
Google Authenticator - Apple
Google Authenticator – Google Play
The Authenticator is really easy to use and these steps will guide through setting up that Authenticator, however the basis is the same for most Authenticators so the steps should generally apply to all.
Once installed, launch the app and follow the below steps for installing via a QR code.
> Ensure the QR Code is open and displayed on the screen.
> Open the Authenticator app on your mobile device.
> Select [Add a code]
> Select [Scan a QR code]
> The app will require access to your camera, once granted you should see a camera screen where you can scan the QR Code that appears upon logging into MMX, ensure the QR Code is in the middle of the designated area..
> Once successfully scanned, you then will see the 6 digit Authenticator code displaying, enter this into the Meetingmax Authenticator field.
