Event Status'

Event Status'

Please see below an outline on what each Event Status means and the requirements.

Disabled:

When you're Event Status is in 'Disabled' status, customers will be unable to make reservations, the messaging from 'Disabled Event Message' in your 'Communications' tab will display when the link is accessed.

An 'Expected Launch Date' will need to be entered in also, this date does not have to be exact and can be changed at any time. Please note, the site will not automatically move into 'Live' mode on this date. For the site to be live it needs to be manually moved into 'Live' status or the Event Status to be 'Scheduled'.

Preview

When you're Event Status is in 'Preview' status, this will show your site landing page when the URL is accessed with the options to select dates and any information you have in 'Start Message' under the 'Communications' tab. However, you cannot move through to the hotels selection without the 'Password', which is set by the MCP when moved into 'Preview' status. This mode is great for when you are making changes and need to see what it looks like to the customer. For more information on what happens when a site is in 'Preview' status, please see 'How do I preview my Event?'

Scheduled

When you're Event Status is in 'Scheduled' status, you can take the thinking out, add a date in for the site to automatically launch into 'Live' mode. If you decide prior to the scheduled launch date you would like to make your site live, the Event Status can just be moved into 'Live' status manually.
While the status is in 'Scheduled', if customers or other MMX users (even the MCP) access the URL, they will see the 'Disabled Event Message' message as per your 'Communications' tab.

Live

When you're Event Status is in 'Live' status, this will enable your customers with the URL to be able to see the site and create reservations.
You can set a date for the site to automatically move into 'Disabled' status, however this is not a required field and can be left blank. If you do enter a 'Disable Date', as mentioned above, you can manually move the event into another status prior to this date.
