Why can my Hoteliers not see reservations from their hotel and/or certain events?

If a HCP (Hotel Control Panel) user is unable to see particular reservations in the HCP this could be because the users HCP profile does not have the hotel and/or specific event added to their profile.

In order to grant the access, head to the MCP (Master Control Panel) and open up ‘Users’ from the left side panel and then ‘Hotel Users’ in here.

Open the affected users profile and scroll down until you get to ‘Assigned Hotels’, here you will be able to see what hotels are assigned to this user and what events for those hotels. E.g.

If you select ‘All Events’ then the user will be able to see any event made for that hotel regardless of if the event was created before or after the profile was created. If you specify certain events for a user, so you can better control their access, each time a new event is created for that hotel, you will need to go in and grant them access to the event.

To grant the access complete the 3 fields under ‘Assigned Hotels’ and select [Add Hotel]

Once you have added each hotel/event to the user, select [Save] and the users profile will be updated, they just need to log into the system again and should be able to see everything for that hotel and event.

Please note, if a reservation is in a ‘Canceled’ state in the MCP and was canceled from ‘New’ (did not have a confirmation number added and was not accepted by the hotel prior to cancellation), it will not display in the HCP under the ‘Reservations’ tab or in the reporting, it will only appear if it is searched in the main search function in the top left corner of the HCP.
