Tips for an Effective Landing Page

Tips for an Effective Landing Page

Your Meetingmax landing page and website are crucial representations of your event. Even for "stay to play" events, your site should look trustworthy and exciting to attendees. Here are some tips to make your site inviting:

Tips for an Effective Landing Page

Simplify Information:

Avoid overloading your landing page with text. Instead, link out to FAQs or detailed information on a separate page. This keeps your landing page clutter-free and easy to navigate.
Suggestions:
Use a disabled event page for FAQs.
Link to a cloud-based document or a dedicated webpage on your company site.

Use Room Reservation Agreement (RRA):

The RRA appears during the reservation process and in confirmation emails, ensuring guests see important information without cluttering the landing page.

Leverage Guest Details Message:

Display additional information under the ‘Booking Summary’ section when guests enter their reservation details.

Visual Design Tips

Minimalist Design:

Avoid using images with too much noise. Ensure your banner and background images complement each other—keep one simple and the other with more depth.

Example three - simple background.

Effective Use of Vertical Banners:

Keep vertical banners minimalistic. Use single images or block colors with text to draw attention without overwhelming the page.
Vertical banners can direct people to your website or social media, serve as ad space for sponsors, or promote local venues with promo codes.

Email Headers and Footers:

The email header will default to your event header but can be customized. The email footer is blank by default; use this space for ads, event branding, or links to other events.
