Changes & Cancellations Sync with GDS!

We’re thrilled to introduce a powerful new upgrade to Meetingmax: real-time syncing of changes and cancellations with Sabre GDS! This game-changing feature ensures end to end communication between Meetingmax, GDS, and Hotels. Making reservation management more efficient than ever.

What’s New?

Sync Changes & Cancellations with Sabre GDS

Making a change or cancellation? Reservation updates or cancellations can be automatically reflected at the Hotel via Sabre GDS, with no manual intervention needed!

• This functionality is available as an on/off toggle and must be enabled by your Customer Success Manager (CSM).

• Syncing happens in real time as soon as an Attendee or MCP user submits a change request.

• Users making change or cancellation receive hotel confirmation during the change process. And a change confirmation email is sent to the guest email.

• Changes and Cancellations no longer need to be approved or declined in change request manager by MCP or HCP.

• Be sure to have the toggle enabled before making a change—otherwise, updates won’t sync to GDS.

GDS Sync Cutoff Date

• As group rates typically expire after a cutoff date, we’ve automated the GDS sync to turn off when an Event Hotel reaches its cutoff.

• Once the cutoff date passes, new reservations, changes and cancellations will no longer sync automatically to GDS and will require manual processing by MCP or HCP users.
