We’re thrilled to introduce a powerful new upgrade to Meetingmax: real-time syncing of changes and cancellations with Sabre GDS! This game-changing feature ensures end to end communication between Meetingmax, GDS, and Hotels. Making reservation management more efficient than ever.
Making a change or cancellation? Reservation updates or cancellations can be automatically reflected at the Hotel via Sabre GDS, with no manual intervention needed!
This functionality is available as an on/off toggle and must be enabled by your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Syncing happens in real time as soon as an Attendee or MCP user submits a change request.
Users making change or cancellation receive hotel confirmation during the change process. And a change confirmation email is sent to the guest email.
Changes and Cancellations no longer need to be approved or declined in change request manager by MCP or HCP.
Be sure to have the toggle enabled before making a change—otherwise, updates won’t sync to GDS.
Event Hotel Toggle
As group rates typically expire after a cutoff date, we’ve automated the GDS sync to turn off when an Event Hotel reaches its cutoff.
Once the cutoff date passes, new reservations, changes and cancellations will no longer sync automatically to GDS and will require manual processing by MCP or HCP users.
