If you missed the Conventional Conference Call, you got left out on the big announcement!

We are bringing some big changes to the Meetingmax application. Over the past few months we've been piecing together a new look and feel for you to better navigate the system.

The New Look:
  1. Brand New login Screens
As part of the overall design change, we've updated the login screens to make them look a lot sleeker and match the rest of the changes happening inside the application. These will be the first new things you will see the next time you come to the site.

  2. Navigation Improvements
After logging, in you'll be treated to a much more modern look and feel for your system. Everything that was once found along the top of the page will now be placed vertically down the left-hand side of your screen.
                                        ↓ ↓ ↓
The Policies and Setup sections are now located under the drop-down menu (click on the big down arrow to see them).

Additionally, we are planning on introducing a few new features to help you better navigate around the system. The first one of which is the quick expand menus to help you get to your event pages quicker.
Click on the small downward arrow to expand the section to get a list of your current events and hotels. You can even use the search field to help filter them (if you have many).

One of the more common requests we have received was that the screen was too narrow and the interface was not using the space effectively.
Well, we have fixed it now!
With the left-hand navigation we've made the remaining part of the screen fluid so that the content will adjust to fit there. This is especially useful for those that have wide monitors and like to see a lot of information at one time.
                  ↓ ↓ ↓

And finally, if you need even more space, you can even collapse the left-hand navigation so that it takes up a tiny bit of real estate on your screen. You can do this by clicking on the left-point arrow found between the navigation and the rest of the content on the page.

Another notable change is the relocation of the previous and next arrows that used to live on the sides of the screen tothe top of the screen.

3. Google Analytics
To go along with our big navigation changes, we have also included a big new feature for you too!
Now, by providing your own Google Analytics tracking code on the Setup > Integrations > Google Analytics Account tab,     you will now be able to see your guests' activity as they go through the booking process.

More Reporting Improvements:

Of course this release wouldn't be official without some improvements to our reports. We have further optimized the following reports to help save some valuable seconds in your day:
  • Payment Reconciliation
  • Detailed Payment
  • Totals by Room Type
  • Sub-block Details
  • Hold Rooms
  • Wait-list
  • ICS
  • Pickup By State/Province
  • Pickup By Group
Additionally, you will also notice that the Company Name has been added as part of the Full Rooming List report as well.

The Knowledge Base

Another huge announcement made on last week's conference call was the introduction of Meetingmax's brand new Knowledge Base.

This new repository has almost 100 articles and we will be consistently be creating more. All of the features and updates that have been released in the past 6 months will have an article, so that you can learn more! There is also an article outlining the key differences introduced with left-hand navigation.

Note – you must be logged in order to access the site, it’s not open to the public.

You can access the knowledge base by clicking the Help option in the drop down arrow next to your name. This is replacing the older outdated wiki.

Training Certification Program (TCP)
The TCP is being updated to include a video explaining how the User Interface (UI)  has changed and how all system functionality will remain the same. On that note, the majority of the TCP slides you're used to will keep the old UI, but just know that nothing functionally has actually changed.

We hope you enjoy the updated look and feel of the Meetingmax system.
Log-in to your system, play around and enjoy!
