How do I Integrate with Hotels, using a GDS?

How do I Integrate with Hotels, using a GDS?

Through our integration with Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) reservations can automatically be pushed to hotel's individual property management system (PMS) via APIs.

How It Works
Once rates are published and viewable to Meetingmax Planning Inc. via GDS, we will be able to obtain Rate Codes through the GDS.  These rate codes include individual property identification, room types, and rate information.  These codes allows us to push reservations through to hotels automatically at the rate codes you and your hotel partner have negotiated.

Your Client Success Manager will obtain these codes and enable the integration for you.  Once the integration is enabled, reservation data will be pushed to hotels in real time as they are created, with a confirmation number being returned as well.  This means reservations will quickly move from New to Accepted, and include a confirmation number in the Master Control Panel.

Requirements
Before utilizing the integration, it is recommended that you include verbiage in your hotel contracts that a GDS integration will be utilized to automatically push reservations to the hotels property management system.

Meetingmax does not charge or collect commission from you or your hotel partner to utilize this integration, however there is a standard GDS fee paid to the GDS provider from the hotel.  This fee is a per reservation fee and is directly negotiated between the chain, brand, or property and the GDS provider.
