How can I track the History of a Reservation?

Each reservation holds it’s on unique history based on: 

  • communication sent and received to the contact and hotelier, 

  • booking confirmation numbers added,

  • changes and/or cancellations of the reservation.


In order to find out information such as when a booking number was added by the hotelier to a reservation, if a hotelier received and/or opened an email, when a contact submitted a cancellation request; you can check this type of information using the below steps.


  1. Once logged into the MMX system, from the ‘Reservations’ tab search the reservation ID: 




  1. Once in the booking select the History tab to search through the updates on the reservation. 



The columns displayed above will help you to identify what has happened:
- ‘date & time’ is when the communication or event on the reservation occurred;
- ‘type’ is what occurred, an email communication or a event on the reservation; and
- ‘message’ dives a little deeper into the what occurred, for instances “Change Request Accepted email sent to the Guest has been OPENED”.
