How can I further customize my event messaging using placeholder fields?
For some guest-facing messaging, you have the ability to leverage placeholder fields to help fill in the content dynamically. This can help in situations where you may be managing many events or are using several sub-blocks and have very similar messaging on each, or in situations where you want to better personalize the content according to who is actually making the booking.
Meetingmax uses Liquid Markup to handle this formatting. You can find more information on it
here for advance uses. Each placeholder-enabled message in the system will contain a footnote that will both link to the Liquid Markup page as well as provide you a list of what content can be replaced.
As you can see in the screenshot above, any fields you would like added can be incorporated using the double curly-braces and the token or variable you want to replace it with. Below is what it will appear like within the reservation process itself.
Different messages have access to different sets of information, so be sure to read what each individual message offers!
