How can I change the name/email address emails get sent from in my system?

In the MCP, you have the ability to specify what name and email address are displayed on all mail sent from your system. To change these fields, make your way to the "Setup" page of your MCP.



When in the setup section, under the "Settings" tab, you'll see the fields for customizing your email settings. Descriptions of each field are shown below.



  1. System Source Email: The email address listed on sent mail as the sender (the address the mail was sent from)
  2. System Source Name: The name listed on sent mail
  3. System Notification Email: The email address you want the system to send notification emails (for events such as email bounces)
Bear in mind that the System Source Email and Name can be overridden by an event-level value for each of these fields! The event-level fields are found in the Communication tab of your event profiles. 

Note: if nothing is entered in the System Source Email or System Source Name fields, mail from your MCP will not be sent. Please ensure you have something entered in these fields!

The Remove Personal Data After drop-down is separate from the system's email settings, and is used for scrubbing an event and its assets of personal information as a GDPR compliance measure.
