GDS Integration Hotel Contracts

What to include in Hotel Contracts for a GDS Integration

Before enabling the Sabre GDS Integration, it is recommended to ensure your hotel contracts have verbiage confirming reservations will be automatically pushed to hotel's property management systems through Sabre GDS.

Recommended addition to hotel contract verbiage:

GDS Rate Publishing Clause

The use of the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) allows reservations to be pushed automatically from the Meetingmax Application to the hotel's Property Management System (PMS) via an API integration. This streamlined process ensures accuracy and efficiency in managing room blocks and reservations.

Rates Publication in Sabre GDS:

1. GDS Requirement
All rates agreed upon in this contract must be published in the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS), and be viewable to ‘Meetingmax Planning Inc.’ under the PCC: J98L.

2. Program Naming Convention
The published hotel program name in the GDS should follow the format: `[Hotel Name][MMX Event ID]`. This naming convention ensures clarity and ease of access for all parties involved.

3. Rate Availability
Rates must be made available in the GDS through to the final check-out date of the event to facilitate any necessary changes or adjustments. This requirement remains valid while still adhering to the agreed-upon Cut-Off Date for room block reservations.

4. Commission and Fees
Meetingmax Planning Inc. does not charge or collect a commission from the hotel as a result of this integration. However, standard GDS fees may apply. Each brand, chain, or property has independently set fees negotiated directly with the GDS provider.

Optionally, you can have the hotel return you a confirmation from their rate submission, or have them return the attached GDS Rate Form below.
