Do I have to fill out guest names when making a front-end booking?

Nope! When making a booking for your attendees on the front-end, you don't have to provide names for the rooms if you don't want to!

In the "Guest Information" section of the "Guest Details" step, you can use a feature called "Placeholder Names". All you have to do is toggle off the "First guest same as contact" option for the first room, and click "Fill Placeholder Names" from the "Autofill" menu.

After you select the option, the guest name fields for each room on the booking will be replaced with "First/Last Name TBD xx". You'll can then proceed with the rest of the booking!

Once you're ready to provide the names for the rooms in the reservation, you can easily add them by editing the rooms in the MCP. We do advise you try and add the names before the cut-off date comes as sometimes hotels will not accept bookings that don't have names attached.
